PRESS RELEASE
August 1, 2008 - Modesto, CA. -- The 2008 Kids With Cameras Program will be operated in conjunction with the Modesto City Schools After School program from August 13 - September 3, every Wednesday from 4-5 pm. Sponsors include NASCO, THE CHARTREUSE MUSE, THE MODESTO BEE, THE CITY OF MODESTO, FUJIFILM, THE FIRSIDE FOUNDATION AND MODESTO CITY SCHOOLS.
Two photos from each participating student will be exhibited at the Chargreuse Muse, 918 10th St., Modesto, beginning with a reception on the evening of September 26. All exhibited works will be for sale in a silent auction, with proceeds divided between the artist/photographer, the Modesto City Schools After School program and the Fireside Foundation, operator of the Kids With Cameras program.
